Donate to Luisa's Lifesaving Surgery and Recovery

Hi my name is Jute. I'm a trans, disabled, single parent providing crucial support to the trans community through non-profit work. I love this work and I am not sure how I can manage the emotional labor it currently requires without Luisa's help. So I'm trying to fund life saving treatment for our family dog, Luisa, who is also my ESA.
She has what appears to be a rapidly growing mammary tumor (visible in the second photo) which the vet suspects is cancerous. I have not been able to afford a biopsy yet. I tried to get her signed up for pet insurance, but they will not cover any of this because it is now considered "pre-existing".
The costs pictured are a receipt from her initial vet visit along with the surgery estimate from that provider. I am looking at alternatives for the surgical process that reduce costs, like the Friends of PACC clinic where we have scheduled a consultation.
However, if it is a cancerous tumor then Luisa's prognosis is not great, especially without access to follow up treatment like radiation and chemotherapy. Those treatments typically accumulate to about $10,000 depending on the type of cancer it is as well as how much of the tumor they can remove successfully. The vet stated that because it is growing so rapidly (it increased from a large marble size to a small baseball size in only 3 weeks) it is likely to be a more aggressive cancer, which is unfortunately common with rapid growth tumors.
Luisa is such a bright light in my life and helps keep me healthy so that I can do important work for my community. I mean come on, look at that face! If she was yours, she would keep you going too. And if any of you can show up for us in our time of need, whatever amount you can share will go a long way in our lives right now.
please note: updates will be posted @My_Bestie_Luisa on IG as things progress with Luisa's treatment, including vet invoices for full transparency.
