Donate to Save Lives: Lymphoma Research and Aid
Tax deductible
Have you or a loved one ever been diagnosed with cancer? Do you know someone who is struggling with the financial and physical effects of cancer? If one of these questions apply to you, then now is your chance to make a difference in the lives of those with cancer and their families!
I am Joshua Everett and I am starting this fundraiser with the goal to raise money to donate to the Lymphoma Research Foundation to help patients and their families with the struggles (financially, physically, and medically) of living with cancer. This fundraiser is very close to my heart because I have lost my father as a result of lymphoma. Specifically, my father died from a rare form of blood cancer known as Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma that affected not only his blood but also his skin. I watched my father struggle with this disease for over 15 years while having brief periods of remission. Each time the cancer returned, it came back ten times stronger than the time prior. Towards the end of my father's life, I was blessed to be one of his caregivers. Having a front-row seat to my father's decline was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life. Watching this disease take over his body and watching our family struggle with the financial burden of medications, radiation therapies, and chemotherapies was added stress that my family and I truly did not need.
Donating to the Lymphoma Research Foundation will allow more funding to be poured into research for treatments and possible cures for this disease while also providing financial assistance to the families of cancer patients. Personally, I know my family and I could have significantly benefited from these resources. Having my community and everyone around me enrolled in donating to this foundation will not only change lives but will SAVE lives as well. Who knows, maybe my father or one of your loved ones could have been helped or saved as well! Let's come together and help save future patients and their families from the turmoil we have all faced at some point in our lives.
