The Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge (RBARI) is a lifeline for countless animals each year. From strays to victims of abuse, RBARI goes above and beyond to help local animals thrive by providing urgent medical care, rescuing abandoned kittens, and offering sanctuary to animals suffering abuse and neglect. But despite their tireless efforts, their resources are stretched thin.

Every day, they face the urgent task of providing critical care, from routine checkups to complex surgeries. Right now, brave animals like Peter Pan, the young pup pictured, are fighting for their lives. Rescued in shock and horrible pain, Peter Pan suffered a catastrophic leg injury. His bones were crushed and displaced, and the poor little guy was covered in road rash. Unfortunately, the damage was too severe to repair, and he had to undergo amputation surgery.

Peter Pan's story is a heartbreaking reminder of the challenges faced by so many animals. But with your help, RBARI can provide the care and support he so desperately needs.
