Linsey has been a loyal companion through every challenge for Vy. Two weeks ago, Linsey suddenly began struggling to breathe. Linsey was rushed to MarQueen Veterinary ER & Specialty Group in Upland, CA, where X-Rays revealed large masses in her abdomen and fluid building around her lungs.

The veterinarians suspect it may be cancerous, but Linsey's condition is critical. To keep her alive, they must hospitalize her and place her on oxygen. The procedure to drain fluid (thoracocentesis) is essential just to help her breathe.

Vy has spent the vast majority of her savings to afford the initial diagnostic visit. Now, the next 24 hours of emergency care and stabilization are estimated at over $5,000.

Vy was only able to cover $2,000 which barely covers basic oxygen and a life saving procedure. She does not want to give up on Linsey, but she simply cannot afford this alone.
