Help Save Lemmy – My Best Friend of 14 Years

Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be in a position to ask for help, but today, I am reaching out with a heavy heart. My beloved cat, Lemmy, has been with me since he was just 2 months old. Now, at almost 14 years old, he is facing the toughest battle of his life, and I’m struggling to give him the care he deserves.

Lemmy isn’t just a pet—he’s my family. We’ve been through everything together, including moving from Italy to the United States. He has been my constant companion, my source of comfort, and my best friend. Seeing him in pain breaks my heart.

Recently, Lemmy developed large, painful wounds due to his extremely thin and fragile skin. Despite stitches, the problem persists. Specialists have suggested possible causes ranging from Cushing’s disease to more severe, life-threatening conditions. He has undergone extensive testing, including a skin biopsy, in an attempt to find answers.

The medical costs have already reached $2,500, even with a savings plan, and I simply can’t keep up with the expenses alone. I am doing everything I can, but I need help.
