Hi. A local friend in Greeley Hill is in need. She has spent her entire life rescuing animals. She works tirelessly with Northside Pet Connection, does the local parades to bring awareness to them, and always has a yard and home full of foster critters. Last week, for some unknown reason, her own dog, Lefty, decided to eat some wire (or a cord?). Dogs do the most amazing things. Well, an emergency vet visit, multiple surgeries, and $8,000 later, Lefty is convalescing at home. It was touch and go for a while, but he pulled through.
