Our family is in the fight of our lives.

On November 14, Justin went into the ER due to his left arm seizing. The ER Dr ordered a MRI and it turned out Justin had a tumor on the right frontal lobe of his brain. An emergency surgery was done to perform a biopsy, and when the pathology report came back it was the worst possible outcome.. Brain cancer. An extremely aggressive one called glioblastoma.

Our next step was to meet with an oncology team, but their bedside manner was non existent. Due to their lack of empathy with their "There's not much we can do" approach, we decided to go to UT Southwestern.

We are about to embark on beginning with STandard of care, which is chemo and radiation first. It is the best way to stop the cancer in its tracks. As of right now we are paying for all of this out of pocket and the radiation Justin will be doing is around $75,000.

With all of this being as heavy as it is, Justin has been forced to discontinue working. Samantha home schools the kids and picks up part time shifts whenever she can. Samantha will also be the one being Justin's full time caregiver.

We would never normally do something like this, but we are desperate and we need any help that is offered.
