My name is Victor Osuna, and I’m reaching out today because we urgently need help with medical expenses for our friend and brother, John Glass. John was recently diagnosed with cancer and was scheduled for surgery on Monday, April 8, 2025. However, he was just informed that he will need to pay approximately $6,000 upfront for the first procedure. Since most of us don’t have that kind of money sitting around, his surgery has been canceled for now.

Anyone who knows John knows that he has touched thousands of lives through his work in our communities throughout Indiana. John and his wife, Nicky, are always the first to lend a helping hand, sacrificing their own well-being to help anyone in need. Now, it’s their turn to ask for help—and they need it desperately.

Why This Matters:

At this time, John’s diagnosis is still unclear, and the only way to get answers is through the first surgery. The goal is to remove as many cancerous cells as possible, with the hope that the doctors can reach a layer of tissue where no cancer remains. If that’s successful, he will need additional treatments like skin grafts, radiation, and possibly chemotherapy.

This is an emergency—John’s diagnosis took about three months to confirm. With each passing day, the situation becomes more urgent, not only in terms of medical care but also with mounting medical bills. Any financial assistance will help cover his hospital bills, medications, and other essential treatments.
