My name is Damien, and I am making this fundraiser for my friend Ibrahim, as he and his family have endured unimaginable losses. He has already lost his brother Mohammed along with many other loved ones. His home was destroyed, forcing his parents and seven siblings into over a year now of displacement, moving from one unsafe shelter to another. Now, with nowhere else to go, they have returned to the rubble of what was once their home, trying to piece their lives back together.

Ibrahim is carrying the weight of this tragedy on his shoulders, but doing everything he can to help his family survive—including supporting his sister and her four young children: Joud (9), Heur (6), Mohammed (4), and Hamada, who was born during the war and is not even a year old. These children have known nothing but fear, hunger, and cold instead of joy, warm full bellies, and safety. They lack proper nutrition, medicine, and warmth, and their fragile bodies are struggling against the harsh conditions they face every day.

As Ibrahim wrote, "The war has taken everything from us. It destroyed our home, stole our loved ones, and left us without shelter or food. Our little ones cry from hunger, weakened by cold and illness. I am doing everything I can to provide for them, but I cannot do this alone. Please help me give my family a chance to survive and have a decent life."

Ibrahim stands among these ruins, not just as a witness to this devastation but as a voice for his family, doing everything he can to help them survive. With basic necessities scarce and unaffordable, they are struggling every day to secure clean water, food, and medicine. The situation is beyond dire, and they need urgent and immediate support to make it through this crisis and begin rebuilding their lives.
