Hello, my name is Hephaestus. I'm an almost 3 yr old Armenian Gampr. I was born in Virginia and and I have 10 brothers and one sister. I came to Illinois to my new mom when I was 4 months old and 55 lb. I have since grown into a great giant of a dog at 123lb and love my mom. My mom had noticed a lump on my lower leg and took me to my Dr Wagner in Kankakee, where she took some x-ray and then told my mom to go to the U of . That is where my mom found out I have bone cancer, and the surgery can run up to 8,000 to have my leg amputated up to the shoulder. My mom has some of the money but not all of it for my surgery. The Dr did say this type is moving fast. The lump was first noticed in a picture in April after mom looked at all the pictures and found it it has since grown to the size of an egg.
