Save Hash's Smile

My name is Andrew. I have had the pleasure of living with Hash (the cat) for the last 13 years. I have recently been in an auto collision (not at fault) that has rendered me unable to work temporarily. He was born in Oakland, CA, found with a brother and a fixed female cat trying to nurse them in a storm drain. We met in San Francisco when his foster brought him in a small cardboard box. He moved to Pittsburgh, PA when he was only 1 and by the time he was 3 years old, he was living in Massachusetts. Hash is well-traveled for a house cat; he has moved approximately 9 times over his 13 years. Despite a full life with a sister cat and a dog that loves him very much (as well as two humans), and a great diet; Hash is unfortunately suffering from poor oral health.

Due to my current situation, I am unable to pay for the cleaning and potential extraction for his molars. I feel an immense amount of guilt as I probably should. He is my best friend. I'm not sure if this page will help, but at this point, I'm willing to try anything to help him.
