Hi, my name is Stacey. I’m reaching out to family, friends, and animal lovers for support. This cutie pie is Georgia, the heartbeat at our feet, our emotional support and angel. She is the core of comfort for our family, but she is also not doing well. Over the last month, she has not been the following shadow, glued to you full of cuddles we know. She hardly moves from her chosen spot for the day, only for mealtime and potty breaks.

She is in pain. She yelps when she moves too much, shakes uncontrollably from pain, and whimpers throughout the day. We haven’t been able to identify the cause of this increasing pain to help her at home. She needs veterinary care to identify the issue and treatment to be herself again.

Our family is praying for any help you can provide as I have been displaced from work for 7 months now. The job market in Iowa has been a real struggle financially as we lived on only my income. With my unemployment being depleted and the government shutdown impacting food benefits (we aren’t getting any), every single penny is being counted. We have to decide which bill gets paid and which bill gets a late fee or put off until I can make enough money dashing to pay it.

If Georgia does not get the help she needs, the impacts emotionally for our family will truly be devastating. Please donate what you are able.
