UPDATE: On Saturday, September 7th, 2024, our dear Fluffy had a Humane Euthanasia after her liver started to fail and her pancreatitis stopped responding to the treatment. It was a painful and tough decision to make, but it was harder to watch her being in so much pain; her joy and energy were gone.

We were gifted the opportunity to spend hours with her before the procedure. We cuddled, kissed, and expressed our eternal gratitude for her work as an emotional support dog and for being just her—a fantastic, energetic dog who loved us without limit and cared for all of us, especially Josue.

We missed her so much, but we are at peace knowing she is resting without pain and suffering.

We are asking for your donation to cover the bills for the last couple of days of treatments, hospital admissions, euthanasia procedure, cremation, and costs of bringing her rest home. The total is $15,000.00. We appreciate you all for supporting us in this moment of need.

ACTUALIZACIÓN: El sábado 7 de septiembre de 2024, nuestra querida Fluffy tuvo una eutanasia humana después de que su hígado comenzara a fallar y su pancreatitis dejara de responder al tratamiento. Fue una decisión dolorosa y difícil de tomar, pero fue más difícil verla con tanto dolor; su alegría y energía se habían ido.

Nos regalaron la oportunidad de pasar horas con ella antes del procedimiento. Nos abrazamos, nos besamos y expresamos nuestra eterna gratitud por su trabajo como perro de apoyo emocional y por ser solo ella, una perra fantástica y enérgica que nos amaba sin límites y nos cuidaba a todos, especialmente a Josue.

La echamos mucho de menos, pero estamos en paz sabiendo que está descansando sin dolor ni sufrimiento.

Join us in supporting Fluffy, the devoted emotional support dog for Josue, who has multiple disabilities, including Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Hydrocephalus, Autism, and Intellectual & Developmental Disability.

Fluffy has been through thick and thin for 13 years on Josue's side, including a recent critical illness for Josue that granted him three months at the hospital, multiple brain surgeries, and a chest tube to fight bacterial pneumonia. Unfortunately, Fluffy got sick and is currently fighting pancreatitis and stones in several body organs, requiring costly intensive care and surgery to heal and return home to her beloved Josue, who is missing her immensely.

Your generous donation will help save Fluffy's life and ensure that Josue can continue receiving the unconditional love and support he needs. Let's come together to bring Fluffy back home where she belongs, providing comfort and companionship to a truly deserving individual.

Únase a nosotros para apoyar a Fluffy, el dedicado perro de apoyo emocional para Josué, quien tiene múltiples discapacidades, que incluyen parálisis cerebral, epilepsia, hidrocefalia, autismo y discapacidad intelectual y del desarrollo.

Fluffy ha estado junto a Josue en buenas y las malas durante 13 años, incluyendo una enfermedad crítica reciente para Josué que le otorgó tres meses en el hospital, múltiples cirugías cerebrales y un tubo torácico para combatir la neumonía bacteriana.
