Help Florence Yemoh Receive Lifesaving Brain Surgery

Our dear friend, Florence Yemoh, is in urgent need of brain surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. A devoted mother and the sole caretaker of five young children, Florence is facing an unimaginable health and financial crisis—and we are reaching out on her behalf for help.

In the summer of 2024, Florence’s world was turned upside down. She lost her only son unexpectedly. Shortly after this devastating loss, she suffered a massive stroke. Her recovery was made even more difficult by inadequate hospital care and a lack of insurance coverage. Despite her strength and determination, Florence has been unable to return to work, and she now struggles to feed her family and keep her children in school.

Today, Florence urgently needs a complex brain surgery, followed by in-patient rehabilitation, physical therapy to relearn how to walk, and speech therapy. The total cost of her surgery and recovery is approximately $10,000. This amount will cover the operation and post-operative care; thankfully, the hospital is near her home, which will minimize travel expenses.

Florence has spent her life giving to others. Now, in her time of greatest need, we are asking our community—friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers—to give whatever they can to help her get the care she deserves and keep her family together.
