Hi my name is Taylor and my fur baby's name is Edison I rescued him about 4 years ago and he was found on the street with a light socket stuck on his head - that's how he got the name Edison

My poor man has been dealing with urinary blockages for the past 2 years and he has had 2 unblockings and recently had a Perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery, which is a surgical procedure that can help cats with urinary blockages. It creates a larger opening in the urethra, which allows urine to bypass narrowed areas and potential blockages. This surgery can reduce the risk of future blockages, but it doesn't guarantee they won't happen again. All of this has cost over $15,000.

He also was diagnosed with bladder cystitis which is a lifelong disease that causes bladder irritation. He has continue visits to the vets for frequent UTIs and blood clots in his surgical site.
