Donate to save dogs in crisis!

Hi,

I'm Claudia and I'm one of the founders of Paddy's Dog Rescue based in Merseyside. I'm taking part in the Wirral Coastal Walk to raise much needed funds for the rescue. We are brand new, just launched at the start of June and we have no reserves.

Since we launched we have saved six dogs in crisis... Luna, Lefty, Bullseye, Blue, Mollie and Boo. Two already are in their new loving homes!

We have formed to help ease the horrific animal welfare crisis... we are seeing record levels of dogs being abused and dumped and local rescues are turning away around 10 dogs in need a day. We have also had to say no to dogs due to lack of funds, we don't have our own kennels and we instead place dogs into commercial kennels until we find them a foster or adopter... which is very costly. We also do rescue properly - having the dogs checked by a vet, vaccinated, dewormed, defleeding, microchipped and spayed. The basics are expensive enough, we could get dogs in that are seriously ill and vet fees could run into thousands.

Having funds in our account means we can say yes when we are contacted by someone about a dog in urgent need. Please donate, it will literally save lives.
