This sweet poor dog was found in a heartbreaking and unimaginable situation – tied to a tree with a jump rope so tightly wrapped around him that he could barely move or even sit without struggling to breathe. He had been abandoned and left alone for an entire day, crying out for help throughout the long, cold night.

A lady offered to shelter him for a day and when I arrived to pick him up from her house, my heart broke at the sight of him. He was malnourished, painfully thin, and utterly exhausted – but it was his eyes that truly shattered me. They were filled with sadness and defeat, yet there was still a glimmer of hope, as if he was begging someone to finally see him, to finally save him.

As soon as I had him, he wanted to jump into my car without hesitation, but couldn’t due to his injuries. He knew this was his chance at a new life. Even at the hospital, despite his pain, he refused to leave my side. He would lean against me for comfort and gently press himself into me as if to say, thank you for not giving up on me.

The vet discovered that he was around eight months old and has a broken right hip and a broken left leg. We suspect the hip was injured in a car accident, and heartbreakingly, the broken leg may have been caused by someone. His injuries are so severe that he will need two separate surgeries to repair the damage, and until then, he struggles to find a comfortable position to rest. Even worse, his red blood cell count is too low to safely undergo surgery right now, delaying the procedures he desperately needs.

This sweet soul has already endured so much pain and suffering in his young life, but I’m determined to give him the second chance he deserves. His road to recovery will be long and expensive, but I know he has so much love left to give once he’s healed.

I’m humbly asking for your help to cover the costs of his surgeries, medications, and ongoing care. Every single donation, no matter the size, will bring him closer to the happy, healthy life he deserves.

Este perrito fue encontrado en una situación desgarradora e inimaginable: atado a un árbol con una cuerda de saltar super apretada que no tenia espacio para acostarse mucho menos moverse, apenas podía moverse. Fue abandonado y dejado completamente solo durante todo un día y llorando pidiendo ayuda durante la larga y fría noche.

Una señora se ofreció a darle refugio por un día, y cuando llegué a su casa para recogerlo, se me rompió el corazón al verlo. Estaba desnutrido, terriblemente delgado y totalmente exhausto, pero fueron sus ojos lo que realmente me destrozó. Estaban llenos de tristeza y derrota, pero aún había un destello de esperanza, como si suplicara que alguien finalmente lo ayudara.

En cuanto me lo lleve a mi carro el trato de subirse, pero no podía debido a sus heridas. Sabía que esta era su oportunidad de tener una nueva vida. Incluso en el hospital, a pesar de su dolor, se negaba a alejarse de mi lado. Se apoyaba en mí para buscar consuelo y suavemente se presionaba contra mí como diciendo gracias por no rendirte y y ayudarme.

El veterinario nos comento que el perrito era un cachorro de alrededor de ocho meses de edad y que tiene la cadera derecha quebrada y una pierna izquierda quebrada. Sospechamos que la cadera se lesionó en un accidente automovilístico y, desgarradoramente, que la pierna rota pudo haber sido causada por un fuerte golpe. Sus heridas son tan graves que necesitará dos cirugías separadas para repararlas y, hasta entonces, lucha por encontrar una posición cómoda para descansar. Sus glóbulos rojos están demasiado bajos por lo cual detuvieron la cirugía para este proximo Lunes 25.

Este angelito hoy de nombre Chocho ha soportado tanto dolor y sufrimiento en su corta vida que merece vivir una mejor vida. Estoy decidida a darle la segunda oportunidad que se merece. Su camino hacia la recuperación será largo y costoso, pero sé que es fuerte y que podra vivir feliz recibiendo amor.
