Donate to Save Cats Life - amputate don't euthanize !

Tax deductible
Hello, my name is Regine, and I am a wildland firefighter in central Arkansas, I want to introduce you to PEWTER, my foster cat.

4 weeks ago, I found him injured trying to get in my dog run with my 4 large rescue ruffians. I brought him inside my home and noticed he had a large wound on his leg.

With help from a friend to hold him, I used my wilderness first aid training to clean and bandage the wound and kept him safe in a small dog crate the first night, moving him to my very large [4ftx5ft] crate with a litter box, water, food, a kitten kennel to hide in, an kitty bed to relax on the following day. We decided to call him Pewter.

Thankfully Stop Animal Cruelty stepped up to assist with the cost of multiple vet visits over the next few weeks. They cleaned the area, shaved surrounding fur of the 3/4" wide an 2.5" long open wound. They determined it was a ruptured abscess that had been present for some time. The wound was then bandaged, hoping that the wound could scar over and heal. Unfortunately, after 4 weeks, the wound doesn't appear to be scarring over. The vet is now recommending amputation of the leg. Unfortunately Stop Animal Cruelty doesn't have funds to pay for amputation, and the alternative treatment option is euthanasia.

I am asking for donations to fund the estimated $1,000 cost of amputation to avoid euthanasia.
Any additional funds raised can go towards the $600+ in vet care Pewter has already recieved. Further donations can go to other needy pets in the care of Stop Animal Cruelty in Hot Springs.

Unfortunately, if the funds to amputate are not available, this very sweet cat will be euthanized.

Please consider donating any amount you can spare to help save this cat's life. Sharing also helps, so thanks in advance for your help getting the word out.

As donations go to the rescue, they are tax-deductible.

With love and appreciation,
Pewter & Regine thank you
