Over the past few months, my regular paychecks have been delayed, and I haven’t been able to schedule as many mediation appointments as I normally do at this time of year. I’ve been applying for additional work to make ends meet, but right now, we’re struggling just to stay afloat.

At the same time, most of my husband’s income has gone toward palliative care for his father, who recently chose to stop treatment for his terminal cancer. Supporting him through this painful process has been emotionally devastating and has left us financially drained.

Because of all this, I’ve fallen behind on rent and bills, and I’m afraid that an eviction notice could arrive at any moment. The ongoing uncertainty has also taken a heavy toll on our mental health — I’ve been battling anxiety and depression, and both of us are stretched to the limit.

What are you doing to improve your financial situation?

Yes. I’m not currently experiencing thoughts of self-harm, though I am dealing with significant anxiety and depression. I’m taking care of my mental health as best I can and seeking the emotional support I need.

How will donations be used?
