Yesterday’s call came with news of my dear friend Veronica struggling to find a public hospital that could take in her newly born baby girl, Romina de Jesus Segundo, because of the lack of incubators available.
Baby Romina was born Tuesday, November 19th of this year. She was diagnosed with a large cephalohematoma in her head as well as hyperbilirubinemia.
It’s urgent she gets treatment and the only available incubators are in private hospitals, which imply outstanding bills that Veronica’s family cannot afford.
On November 22nd, Romina got admitted into “Clinical Montoya” located in San Felipe del Progreso. But Veronica and her husband don’t have the means to pay for the services yet they did what any parent would do to have their baby survive.
I ask that if you can find it in your heart to donate for Romina’s treatment. Anything is a blessing. Thank you in advance and may God multiply your donations.
