- My name is Robert Richbourg I'm a 17-year veteran of the United States army, I also have 12 years of law enforcement experience, along with my buddy Vic Smith he also has law enforcement experience as far as we can remember we have always had a passion for saving dogs from abuse and neglect. These precious souls have no voice but they do have a heart and they have feelings,they are man's best friend and should be treated as such,but this is a cruel world and most of the dogs do not know what love Is, or to have a home of their own. Most are abused and neglected, and abandoned in the middle of nowhere to fend for themselves,because they have become old or sick. We have rescued and rehomed many dogs in the past years, we have used our own money for vetting, food,spay and neuter. It's pretty costly but we do it for the dogs. But this our passion and we will continue to do it. The reason we started a gofund, we have decided to start a 501c. We will be building a shelter to where we can house the ones that we rescue until we can find them forever homes, this would give us the opportunity to rescue more... And I'm sure there's a lot of questions why well here's why. I have only told a few people the reason why I have a passion for saving dogs and giving them a better life. As I explained above I'm a 17-year veteran I've had some pretty dark times in my life back in 2012 I lost my best friend my father I pushed my family away along we my friends. I shut everyone out, I didn't want to be on this Earth anymore. I was going to take the selfish way out. Well it didn't happen the way I planned, one of my dogs jumped on me at the right time and the round did not go where it was intended. Because of that I am still here today so I owe my life to saving those that do not have a voice.. the money that we raise will be used for material for the shelter, food, dog houses, toys, spay and neutering etc. If you can help please do, if not please share, and say a prayer that we may go forward with this.
