Donate to Save and Foster Newborn Kittens
Donation protected
I’ve rescued a few litters of kittens however, several people have contacted me with stray pregnant cats or stray cats that recently had kittens on their property. Since I am a new rescue, I don't currently have funds to support this. I need donations to rescue the momma cats and their kittens to get started and place them into volunteer foster homes.
The following expenses are estimated and do not include emergency care:
Vet costs at minimum: Initial vet exams, fecal testing, deworming, ear mite treatments, initial flea treatment for infestation, plus any immediate expenses for viral infections, such as bloodwork, IV, antibiotics, etc (this can easily add up to $500 per cat).
Supplies at minimum: dry and wet food for momma, kitten milk for babies, wet food for babies transitioning off momma, litter,
As soon as I can raise enough money to rescue one momma and a litter of kittens, I will arrange for pickup and get the ball rolling, then start on the next set when I get enough money for the next set.
Any kitten and/or momma I rescue will also need to have shots and be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age, which is not included in this fundraiser.
I would like to rescue at least 5 mommas plus their litters, some litters are 6 babies.
Trailer Katz Rescue, Inc. is a privately owned and operated cat rescue in East Texas. We are in the new startup phase, have no staff, and are not open to the public. Our mission is to rescue and rehome kitties, specifically focusing on kittens. We are registered as a nonprofit in Texas and are working on a 501(c)(3) IRS tax exemption. We are not state or federally funded and rely solely on donations. Since we are a new startup, we are covering costs out of our own pockets to save these kitties' lives. Donations are greatly needed. Every penny of donations goes toward rescue expenses, as we are volunteer-based.
