Help Us Feed & Care for the Community Cats of Wahiawa & Schofield Barracks
For years, our small volunteer group has been dedicated to caring for the many community cat colonies around the Wahiawa and Schofield Barracks area. Every single day, we show up to feed them, monitor their health, provide medical care when emergencies happen, and work tirelessly to reduce suffering through TNR (Trap–Neuter–Return), as well as finding homes for kitties that aren't feral.
But we can’t keep doing it alone. We have been self-funded for food and most costs while relying on help for major medical visits, and with food prices rising and vet bills increasing, we need help more than ever.
What We Do:
Feed Local Colonies
We care for multiple colonies and provide daily meals so no cat has to go hungry. A single week of food can cost far more than our small group can sustain without support.
On Schofield alone, we have over 20 colonies spread between various volunteers.
TNR (Trap–Neuter–Return)
TNR is the most compassionate and effective way to reduce overpopulation. Every cat we can spay/neuter prevents countless future litters and suffering.
Rescue & Foster the Adoptable Cats
Whenever we find friendly, social, or young cats and kittens, we work hard to place them into loving foster homes until they’re ready for adoption.
Provide Medical Care
When cats are sick, injured, or in need of urgent treatment, we step in—whether it's wounds, infections, dental issues, or more serious conditions. Vet bills, even for one cat, add up quickly.
Why We Need Your Help
Our mission is simple: to improve the lives of these cats and reduce the colony population humanely. But we are running out of resources to continue at the level these animals deserve. Every dollar donated goes directly toward food, vet care, spay/neuter appointments, traps, medicine, and supplies for fosters. Anything left over will go towards the various charities and organizations that are on the island.
How Your Donation Helps:
$30 buys a 32lb bag of cat food
$50 helps cover vaccines or basic vet care
Bigger medical treatments vary, depending on the needs. We have had to seek help for anything from dental to tumor removals.
Any amount truly makes a difference
You Can Be the Reason a Cat Is Fed, Saved, or Given a Second Chance
These cats didn’t choose their circumstances, but we can choose to help them. With your support, we can continue providing lifesaving care, preventing suffering, and giving friendly cats and kittens a chance at a forever home.
Thank you for caring, for sharing our mission, and for supporting the cause.
