My name is Julius and I am a UK University student organising a fundraiser for Abdullah Harara (27) to be able to provide for the basic needs of his family of 5 and find an escape route to Egypt away from the bombings in order to be able to get proper medical treatment for their injuries. He and his family are situated on Al-Rimal Street in the north of Gaza, which is suffering the hardest hit from the famine. However, Abdullah was recently scammed by somebody posing as someone who genuinely wanted to help him out. I am currently in contact with him, however due to the destruction of network infrastructure in Gaza, he experiences poor internet connection and spotty phone service.

"Hello guys, this is Abdullah from the besieged northern Gaza Strip, which lacks the minimum necessities of life. We are in the Gaza Strip, in the midst of the chaos of the conflict. The story of Abdullah and his family is struggling to survive, especially after they lost their home and shelter, which was completely destroyed by the brutal occupation of the Gaza Strip and the ravages of war. They found themselves among countless displaced people. With each passing day, their suffering became more desperate as they faced the enormous challenge of securing basic necessities. Water and food in the absence of healthy food and in light of the exorbitant prices that the people of the north of Gaza suffer from, especially Abdullah's family suffers from providing the necessities of life due to Abdullah's injury in the war, which affected his ability to access food and water. This is a major reason for the difficulty of securing food because Abdullah is the main breadwinner for his family of 5 members, and he is the eldest among them. As the war and suffering my family is going through continues, Abdullah and his family decided to evacuate from the Gaza Strip and travel to Egypt. The main reason for the trip is to complete Abdullah's treatment in Egypt because here in the Gaza Strip there is a complete lack of health care and it is necessary to travel in order for Abdullah to recover from his injury and also so that he and his family can survive and escape the genocide taking place in the Gaza Strip. Finally, despite their steadfastness for more than 11 months, the family's ordeal continues to worsen. They have decided to leave the war-torn lands of Gaza in search of a better life, free from the spectre of conflict and displacement."
