- Katlyn Philpott is a devoted mother of two boys, a loving wife, and a talented local nail technician who has touched the lives of many in her community. Since birth, Katlyn has faced serious bladder and kidney complications. Over the years, she has endured countless medical challenges and procedures, and now she faces her most difficult battle yet.
- Katlyn currently has only one functioning kidney, and that kidney is now losing its ability to function properly. A live transplant was attempted, but due to her underlying medical condition, she was denied. Her nephrologist has now recommended that she seek specialized treatment at the Mayo Clinic — a last resort that offers hope for a solution. Unfortunately, the Mayo Clinic does not accept her current insurance, leaving her family with overwhelming medical and travel expenses.
