This is not something that is easy for me to do, as I've always tried to be as self-sufficient as possible, but times are hard right now and sometimes you just have to reach out.

Many of my friends and family know what a remarkable man my father is. This year has been pretty rough on him, dealing with cancer and other medical issues. He is also needing cataract surgery because he is at risk of fully losing sight in one eye and possibly the other. I would do anything in the world for my dad, but I'm also dealing with my own medical issues at this time.

I'm asking in lieu of any birthday or Christmas gifts, if you are able to donate anything to his cause, we would be so appreciative. I know that times are hard on everyone right now, especially with the holiday season upon us. Even just a good thought, putting out a good vibe into the universe, or a prayer is more than I can ask for.
