Donate to save a family from Gaza: we deserve to live

I am Ahmed Salem, a young Palestinian man from the Gaza Strip, 25 years old. A year and two months ago, a violent war began on Gaza, bringing destruction and pain into our lives. We lost many of our loved ones, and the dreams of young people and families were shattered in an instant. My personal life was one of the many victims of this war. I lost my home, where I had spent the best moments of my life, and where I had grown up since my childhood.

I also lost my job, which was my only source of income, and on which I depended to support myself and my family. Now, we live in a tent in this harsh winter, suffering from merciless cold without any protection. We lack the most basic necessities and struggle to survive.

It doesn't stop there; we also suffer from deadly diseases due to the harsh living conditions, malnutrition, and lack of medical care. We have been displaced many times, and sometimes we had to sleep on the streets, without shelter or safety. Life has become a daily battle for survival, and the scenes of destruction and suffering have become part of our daily reality.

I write to you today with a broken heart, imploring you to spread my story and help me restore my life and my family's life. Every contribution, no matter how small, means a lot to us. It is not just material help, but a beacon of hope for a better life and a guarantee for the future of our children who deserve a dignified life.

I live daily with this suffering, watching my dreams shatter before my eyes every day. But despite all this darkness, I hold on to hope and look forward to a better future. I wholeheartedly hope that my story will reach compassionate hearts and listening ears.
