Donate to Sarita's Extended Recovery Journey

As many of you know, my daughter underwent a kidney transplant on April 16th. Unfortunately, she experienced several complications that led to the need for a second surgery to remove her right kidney. The doctors believe this will relieve pressure on the transplanted kidney, giving it the space and chance it needs to begin functioning properly.

She’s been incredibly strong through all of this, but the journey hasn’t been easy physically, emotionally, or financially. The funds raised so far have gone toward her recovery expenses, especially lodging near the hospital, which is required post-transplant. She will still remain in the hospital until she’s stable and recovered enough to be discharged. However, once she is released, she will need to stay in a nearby hotel for three additional weeks under the care of a nurse.

Since much of the funds previously raised have been used for her initial recovery now she’s facing the added expense of this extended stay.
