I will be going to Lima, Peru in November of this year as part of a mission trip, taking the Word of God, the hope of salvation, and the light of His love to the children of Peru. If you know me at all then you know that I would NEVER want to leave my daughter for 8-9 days let alone travel somewhere with no one I know to a place that I've never been. However, we walk by faith, not by sight. I feel called by the Spirit to go and felt a peace in making the decision that was not my own... Again, if you know me well I don't think that peaceful would be one of the traits used to describe me. We will be going to a children's hospital, schools, and an orphanage. We will be bringing needed items to each place and potentially doing some light construction and repairs (God help me). We will also be bringing food to personal homes of people in Peru. I am hoping to raise the funds for the travel that is associated with the trip. If you feel led to contribute I would be blessed and grateful for any donation you could make.

Isaiah 43:18-19: "Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."
