My name is Sarah and I'm here asking for assistance from the community around me for help with my medical expenses and bills.

Over the past two years, my health has been in a steady decline. After many months of increasing symptoms, unexplainable extreme fatigue, and then - suddenly - the onset of seizures, we were able to get somewhat of a diagnosis. About a year after the onset of symptoms, we got a more solid diagnosis. I've been diagnosed by specialists with systemic erythematosus lupus, connective tissue disease, migraines and chronic pain syndrome from damage and deterioration in my cervical spine, neuropathy, and seizure disorder (waiting to be seen by a epileptologist at Shands to diagnosis type of seizures). For over a year now, I have been unable to drive, have been unable to work since May of this year due to my conditions, and am now undergoing my second round of oral chemotherapy to try to get my autoimmune diseases into remission in hopes that we can prevent further damage to my body.

Over the past year, my family has gone through several traumatic and expensive events (one being the loss of my pregnancy) which have increased stress that exacerbated my illnesses. Treatment of my conditions is not cheap, costs have increased more with a rise in insurance costs, and difficult financial circumstances due to situations outside of our control and in this tough economy.

My hope is that God will place it on the hearts of those around me, who are financially capable, to donate to my family during this time of need so that I can worry less and receive proper treatment. I also hope that those around me who are not able to give financially will pray for me.
