Hello;

I am going to tell you the story of my beautiful daughter Sarah. Sarah as many of

you know was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lyphoma in December of 2023. She started

treatments in January and finished her chemo regimen in May 2024. Fast forward

to December 31st 2024. Sarah feels a lump in her neck similar to what she felt in

the fall of 2023. She goes in to the doctor and had a ct scan; ultra sound and a

needle biopsy in the middle of January. Results show the cancer is back. New

treatment plan. This time a two tiered plan that requires immuneotherapy and then

a stem cell rescue also known as a stem cell transplant. So, Sarah will have her

stem cells collected and saved before treatment. Next, they will hit her with a high

dose of chemotherapy and then she will receive healthy stem cells. The stem cells

help the bone marrow recover and make healthy blood cells. Because of the lethal dose of chemo therapy Sarah has found herself looking into storing her eggs so she can one day be a mother. This was a hard decision because she is delaying treatment for the cancer to go forward with fertility treatments. This is another cost in her medical journey she did not expect to have to incur. She hates asking for help and so do I but with time off for her treatments especially the

stem cell transplant and now the cost of fertility treatments she is concerned about

the debt that she is getting into.

Sarah is the kind of person that has given her life to helping others through her mental advocacy and counseling work. I'm hoping that all those that read this will pay her kindness forward with helping to support her through this difficult time. Any donation is appreciated.
