My name is Samantha Gonzalez. I am 33 years old with stage 4 kidney failure. I am a mother to twin boys, a wife, a sister to twin brothers, and a younger sister.

When I was 21, I had a urinary tract infection that didn’t cure but refluxed to my kidneys in 2011. When 2012 (September) came around, I did my yearly blood work exam, and my general physician called me and told me that I have stage 3 (a) kidney failure and needed to come into the office with my mom. It was such a scary moment that I brought my mom with me to have someone by my side because at that moment, I was aware kidneys were an important organ that our body needs to regulate clean blood and clean urine. I was just devastated because I was so young! At just 21, I had to navigate my life, literally transform my life because my kidneys were compromised at such an early age!

So now, advance to January 2025, my kidney function is currently at 14%, and I will start doing transplant testing. I have two special people in my life that are willing to donate to me, but due to the circumstances of work, finance, and bills, I am asking for any type of small donation to help me and my family out because me getting a new kidney I will be out of work for six to twelve weeks without any help , I don’t get paid time off, nor any personal days , so the financial situation will be hard for me and my family . and we’re just asking for some donations to help with our bills, and anything that my insurance doesn’t cover such as copays for clinic visits and my medication copays this will help me cover those expenses thank you so much to all of you guys!
