I'm Joseph Desantiago. My mom's name is Salina Mayorga, and the purpose of this fundraiser is to help her get the necessities she needs to battle breast cancer. She was diagnosed in early October, and unfortunately, she needs to have a double mastectomy on November 19th, 2025. Times are hard financially right now, as I'm sure many of you can relate. My siblings and I will be physically taking care of her. We will be taking time off work to assist her for however long it takes her to recover.

She's not the type of person to ask for money or ask for these kinds of things. In this case, we need help because having to get this surgery is very stressful all around. Luckily, they caught the cancer early, and our mom will be okay for the most part. Still, it's unexpected, and we need the help. She'll need supplies for post-surgery that the hospital won't provide.
