Donate to Sabrina Gober's New Prosthetic Hand

Hi, I am Sabrina Gober. I was born missing my right arm. Throughout my life, I have had multiple body-powered prosthetics that were uncomfortable and ineffective. Now that I have two young children, it's become overwhelming to be without a prosthetic hand and try to care for them. I have disputed my health insurance company for three years to get prior approval of a myoelectric hand to help aid in caring for myself and family. After a last resort of engaging a third party external review company, Anthem finally granted prior approval. Unfortunately, Anthem will not cover the entire cost of the estimated $170,000 prosthetic. My responsibility is to cover the estimated $7,500 left out of pocket. Between my two kids in daycare and college, I cannot afford the out of pocket costs.
