Ryder's Medical and Travel Needs

My name is Lindsey Stiner and I am an only parent to my incredible 11-year-old son, Ryder. Ryder was born with ocular albinism and nystagmus, conditions that severely impair his vision. His journey has been one of resilience, but as he grows, so do the challenges we face together.

Ryder requires frequent trips to Fort Worth, often every 2 to 4 weeks, to see specialists who help manage his visual impairment. Unfortunately, the last few months have brought even greater hardships. Ryder has been experiencing neurological issues that have sent us to the ER multiple times. These concerns have added layers of worry and financial stress to our lives.

Our medical and vision insurance, while helpful, does not come close to covering the mounting costs of Ryder’s care. From contacts, glasses, and specialized sunglasses to the frequent travel expenses for appointments, we are stretched far beyond our financial limits. To make matters even harder, we do not have family support to lean on during this difficult time.

Despite my determination to provide Ryder with everything he needs, the weight of these expenses as an only parent has become overwhelming. I am humbly asking for your support to help ease this burden. Donations will go directly toward Ryder’s medical bills, his contacts and eyewear, travel expenses, and ensuring he gets the care he needs to thrive.
