Ryan had a bilateral cerebellar stroke on January 3rd, 2023. It was the absolute worst day of our lives. The horrible part is that they didn’t treat him for a stroke so he is now permanently disabled. In the meantime he’s had a handful of throat surgeries due to scar tissue from his tracheostomy. It’s crazy how a 15 minute surgery can cost almost 30k. That’s just the start of the expenses that will add up. Yup, you read that correctly. That’s when he has an outpatient surgery. Imagine what a 5 hour surgery and a week in the hospital will cost? That’s our next adventure; a tracheal resection with a week in the hospital.

I’ve tried to be so tough for everyone but I’m asking for your help now. I’ve been off of work due to a shoulder surgery and money is tight. Heck, money was tight after his stroke but I didn’t want anyone to know. Ryan is my rock and I wanted to give him everything he’s given me… a roof over our heads, food in our stomachs and love in our hearts.

So far I’ve been able to pull it off. Until now. Money is tight and our expenses are going up rather than down. I hate to ask but if you’d be willing to give anything I’d appreciate every penny and every prayer sent our way.

If you knew Ryan before the stroke you know he’s one of the “good ones”.
