THANK YOU FOR YOUR ORDER is a new narrative short film by Ryan Buffa. "Thank You" is about the day in the life of THEO, a food deliver e-biker in New York City, who is hustling to make some extra money to pay for a special birthday cake for his preteen daughter. Along the way we meet various New Yorker characters who express their strong opinions about the delivery bikers who have seemed to take over the city.

Ryan is currently producing the film on a shoe string budget thanks to the support of her new growing community in New York! The remaining funds are to help cover the insurance policy that Ryan is currently paying out of pocket and to fund the post production of the project!

Ryan Buffa (she/her) is a writer, director and producer from Atlanta, GA and based in New York City. Ryan’s passion for storytelling is rooted in her journalism background and bringing truthful experiences to her narrative filmmaking, often focusing on shining a light on survivors and their perseverance. She began her producing career on The Walking Dead as an assistant to the powerhouse Executive Producer Gale Anne Hurd, and ended the series as a Co-Producer. She recently worked as an Associate Producer on TWD: The Ones Who Live. Her short films, APPLES & ORANGES and SWEETHEART have screened at several film festivals across the United States and both won Best Short Film (2018 and 2021) at the Atlanta Horror Film Festival. Ryan has a BA in journalism and media production from Flagler College, where she has won several Student Society of Professional Journalism awards for her multimedia journalism. Her most recent award winning short film, HOTELING, starring Jackson Abram and Khary Payton (The Walking Dead), is raising awareness on this issue in the foster care system. To further her mission of helping children in the foster care system, Ryan is a Junior Board Member of the Felix Organization, a non-profit helping New York state foster youth. Most recently, she Produced a pilot presentation about a caregiver and her elderly but quirky client titled, ETHEL & ERNIE, written and directed by Julia Wackenheim. Ryan was also a finalist for the Series Fest x Shondaland Women Directing Mentorship 2025. She is currently working as an executive assistant on television shows such as “The Diplomat”for Netflix and “Elsbeth” for CBS.
