Meet the Team!

Director/ Writer

Valentina Mosqueda is a Film and 2D Animation double major from Florida, specializing in directing, editing, and animating. Coming from a family of artists, she grew up in a creative environment and was always encouraged to set out to create what she was passionate about. Both live action and animation are incredibly different mediums but she loves both because she has always been drawn to storytelling in anyway that it can be told. Stories, characters, music, everything comes together to create a meaningful story. She hopes to continue working on them in the future in any way that she can.

With experience in directing, editing, storyboarding, and animating, Valentina is excited to approach a new project that has combined her passion in film, theatre, and music. Having knowledge in every phase of production, she is excited to experience it all and bring her vision to life with a set of people with the same passions as her.

We want to tell a fun and dramatic story that spotlights human emotion, relationships, and that feeling on not being quite where you want to be. We are so excited to share this vision and bring it to life. Any support would be appreciated and helps us tell this story.

Writer

Sephora is an English/Marketing senior at UNF who is passionate about telling useful, resonant, playful stories.

From undergrad research at FSU to songs, papers, script coverage, and plays, Sephora’s multi-disciplinary experience prepared her for a fresh challenge: writing the screenplay for “Run Behind the Curtain,” a story that spectates at the liminal space between projection and truth in relationships.

She says, “There are so many great scripts out there that haven’t gotten to a screen. I am honored that through the collaboration and efforts of many, our story gets that follow-through. I want the words I write to be worth those efforts.”

Producer

Sandy is a junior film major at SCAD, focusing in producing and editing. Passionate about filmmaking and storytelling, she has produced multiple short films and student films during her time at SCAD. Sharing this creative visual medium with others around the world is a dream of hers, along with bringing bold, unique ideas to the screen.

As a producer, she loves being hands-on and very involved with the process, and collaborating with many different people and skill sets. Being involved in every stage of the project, from pre production to production to post production, has allowed her to hone her skills and understand ensure each project runs smoothly and efficiently.

“Run Behind the Curtain” is a unique story that she is passionate about bringing to life. Donating or word of mouth helps this project greatly, and securing funds will bring this film to life!
