Dear friends and family - some of you may remember the amazing angel on earth, Rubena "Ruby" Stephenson who so lovingly cared for our parents as a hospice nurse before they left this world. Ruby became a beloved member of the Brosnan family and continued sharing her love and compassion for others by going on to work for our beloved Venture Inc. family caring for individuals with disabilities in the Rockland County community. We never felt there was adequate enough ways to repay our gratitude to her until now and we could use your help.

You've likely seen on the news the devastation caused by the catastrophic hurricane that recently hit Jamaica. Hurricane Melissa was one of the strongest Atlantic hurricanes on record and it hit the western part of Jamaica in the areas where Ruby was born (Hanover) and educated (West Moreland). In typical Ruby fashion, she's organized for a shipping container to be shipped from New York to her community in Jamaica and contacted us to see if we would be interested in donating non-perishable food items. We want to exceed her expectations and provide a big donation to help fill the shipping container. Could you spare $5 to $20 for this cause? We will use the funds to purchase non-perishable items for the shipping container. Alternatively, you can feel free to drop off any non-perishable item at any of our homes before December 1, 2025.
