Meet my cousin Rounak aka Rou. She has survived what most of us can’t even imagine. 2.5 years ago, she was diagnosed with AML leukemia. After intense treatment, she went into septic shock, fell into a coma, and lost all four of her limbs. Once she healed enough, she pushed forward into her first bone marrow transplant and began rebuilding her life from scratch.

Rou is pure resilience. She’s joy, love, and strength in human form. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her.

Today, she’s facing another major battle: her cancer has returned, and she now needs a second bone marrow transplant.

Rou didn’t agree to this GoFundMe just for herself. If you know her, you know she hates asking for help so the only reason she said yes is because she wants to give back. Her dream is to start a nonprofit offering wellness retreats for people facing life-altering challenges. A place for connection and hope. Anything raised beyond her immediate medical needs will help her begin building that vision.
