Donate to Ronnie Alarid's Final Farewell
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I am here at this stage in life. However, I am also grateful for the opportunity to be present and assist my cousin in this difficult time.
Ronnie Alarid, a 32-year-old young man, had unfortunately fallen victim to substance abuse, a pattern all too common among many young people today.
As we prepare for the upcoming services, we are faced with the difficult decision of when to remove life support.
Amidst this tragedy, we find solace in working with the organ & tissue donor team, as Ronnie will become a hero to one or more individuals in need of organ and tissue donation.
Despite struggling with homelessness, Ronnie consistently demonstrated kindness and a willingness to give back to those less fortunate than himself. Having recently completed rehab and doing well, he found himself in a vulnerable position in early recovery.
Unfortunately, he relapsed and did not prevail. An hour after leaving his mother's house on Thursday night, he was found at a local RTD light rail station, where a passerby contacted 911 and initiated CPR. Sadly, it was not enough.
As expected, his family is devastated beyond belief, particularly given the hospital's delay in reaching his mother, which resulted in a day and a half lapse before notification.
We are now tasked with preparing for his memorial and cremation services. As you can imagine, this is a significant financial burden for the family. Nevertheless, I am confident that we can raise the necessary funds.
If you are able to provide financial assistance, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, simply sharing this post will be of immense help, and we trust that God will take care of the rest.
