Donate to Ron Phelps and family' Fight Against Cancer

Hello, my name is Chaz Penwright Sr.

Our Pops, aka PaPa, aka Ron Phelps, was recently diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma, a type of colon cancer. Although our family is still processing everything, I'm attempting to help them prepare for the days, weeks, and months ahead. With that said, Ron and my Mother both will be forced to miss a significant amount of work for treatments. The medical bills are already stacking up and they are going to be faced with many financial hurdles.

We are in the very beginning phases, still waiting for results along with more testing. I come to you hat in hand, seeking any amount of donation to help them prepare for the hardest days ahead.

Ct scan has shown possible spreading to his liver and near by lymph nodes.

Ron’s appointment today with the Tennessee cancer specialist team gave us a better understanding of what to expect.

They took blood work to test for gene mutations, genetic possibility because both his paternal grandmother and one uncle passed away from colon cancer.

Rectal MRI is scheduled for Tuesday to better understand the tumor itself.

The injection port, MRI Brain and Pet scans scheduled for next week also.

We feel the team is moving very quickly and that they are taking very good care of him.

So many of our friends and friends of friends are asking how they can help.

What we need are prayers, we need your prayers.

Cancer may have started this fight, but our Ron is strong and positive and a wonderful man who will finish it.
