Help Support Rodger Stoltzfus With Metastatic Bladder Cancer

Donation protected
My dad, Rodger Stoltzfus, had a heart attack in September of 2024. Then, after experiencing months of symptoms, he underwent surgery to remove tumors in July of 2025, which was diagnosed as a rare form of muscle invasive small cell carcinoma bladder cancer, which then metastasized. Rodger has focused for most of his years on a wholesome approach to life. Because of his decline he does not feel he can withstand the rigors of conventional treatments, which still do not provide a great prognosis. And because it more clearly resonates with him, Rodger feels his best hope for his cancer treatment is at Hope4Cancer holistic clinic, where he is actively in treatment for his whole body, mind, and spirit. However, care at this clinic is not covered by his VA benefits or Medicare.

Rodger has given back to the Bozeman community over the years in so many ways - volunteering countless hours with Bozeman Amateur Hockey Association including coaching kids' hockey, and helping build the first Haynes Pavilion ice rink. He has been volunteering his time and expertise at Hawthorne Elementary School building and maintaining the ice rink for the past 20+ years, where he enjoys spending his days tying skates and teaching kids how to ice skate. If you ever received unsolicited skating lessons anywhere in Bozeman, it was probably from him and most likely he helped you improve your skills :) He is also a fixture at Bridger Bowl, where he will also give unsolicited advice on skiing techniques! He often volunteers with Bridger Ski Foundation (BSF) for ski racing events, and has spent many hours helping at the annual BSF ski swap.

Rodger can and will fix anything before getting rid of it. If he hasn't fixed something of yours, he has volunteered at the local Fix-It-Clinics and at the Senior Center where he has repaired many things over the last few years.

He always goes above and beyond to help a friend, or even a stranger.

We hope that anyone who has known or been impacted by Rodger's generous spirit over the years would consider helping support him financially with medical bills and other expenses related to his ongoing treatment and care, so that he can come back ready to continue living and giving the way only Rodger can.

Thank you so much for your support.
