Hi! River City Raas is a premier national collegiate Raas-Garba dance completion held annually in Richmond, Virginia - bringing together some of the most talented and passionate dance teams from across the nation. Eight different teams showcase their talent through different forms of Raas and Garba and compete for first, second, and third place. Those who do place earn bid points towards the national championship competition called Raas All Stars, where teams compete to earn the title of the best collegiate Raas-Garba team in the nation.

Organizing an entire competition dedicated to giving dancers the chance to compete at a competition they will never forget definitely takes months of planning, dedicated student leaders, a community willing to uplift the dream, and monetary support to place our dreams into a reality. Every donation helps us cover venue costs, hospitality costs, and other associated costs.
