A Second Chance
Hi, my name is Rick Terry. I’m reaching out today not just for help, but with hope—hope that my story resonates with someone who believes in second chances, healing, and the power of community. At the tender age of three, I was placed into foster care. That experience left its mark and shaped me into the person I am today. I’ve made some good choices in my life, and some not-so-good ones. But through it all, one thing has never changed: my love for my family and my deep desire to be present for them in every way I can. That’s why I’m reaching out now, with deep humility and hope, to ask for your help.
For the last several years, I’ve been living with COPD. This condition has deeply affected my quality of life. Pain and fatigue have made it harder to complete simple daily tasks. After exhausting many traditional treatments, I believe that stem cell therapy offers real hope, not just for relief, but for healing. This innovative treatment could restore mobility, reduce pain, and most importantly, give me back precious time with my family. Unfortunately, stem cell therapy isn’t covered by insurance, and the cost is far beyond what I can manage.
This isn’t easy to ask—but I truly believe in the power of community, faith, and love. If you can give, no matter how small, you’re helping me take one more step toward healing and more time with the ones I love.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you for your compassion. And thank you for being a part of my healing journey.
With love and gratitude,
Rick
