My PC was fried during a thunderstorm. My dream is to finish and release my indie game I was nearing completion on, so I'm raising funds to (edited) fix up a used PC so I can finish my game.

I didn't use my PC for much else besides artwork and simple game dev, so I don't need any sort of high end PC to finish my game's development. I've been working on it for years and I am close to finally being done.

My game is called Mother, Is That You? or MITY for short, and follows the main character Daughter as she searches an abandoned facility for clues on her mother who was taken away years ago. Daughter didn't react to or protest her mother being taken away, so she feels guilty and seeks forgiveness for freezing up that day. Throughout the game Daughter must gather documents in her backpack, speak with ghostly NPC's or creatures, and avoid or do battle with dark spirits. As the player progresses, they learn more about Daughter, the facility, and the dark plot behind Mother's disappearance. NPC allies can be recruited to aid Daughter in her quest at crucial story moments.

All art was done by me by hand, and I learned all coding on my own, save for a dialogue tree asset pack by FriendlyCosmonaut. The game will have 4+ endings and 8 paths to experience. The game theme was made by Retrig and all further ambiences and effects were made by me. There are some classical pieces I want to purchase licenses for, but I'm not worried about that at the moment.

This video compiles 4-5 hours of gameplay into 1:45 hours. The game at its current point is probably 15 hours. I intend for the finished game to be around 20 hours long.

The beginning of the game has a projector slide showcasing some of my old concept art for the game and displaying Patreon, Kickstarter, and Gofundme supporters from the earlier days of the project. This current Gofundme will also have its own section added.

It's been a dream of mine to finish this game and release it. Please support me!
