My name is Patricia, Patty to all friends and family. My younger sister, Jewell has cancer. It is terminal. She has maybe only months to live. She is undergoing infusion chemotherapy as we speak. She is on a feeding tube. She will never taste the wonderful flavors that we take for granted every minute of every day. This is her second round of chemo. She could not stand the radiation again. Now, this infusion chemo is in the trial stages, and the doctors are hopeful, and that gives us hope also. This could possibly extend her life a year or even two. There is no cure. The cancer has spread to all lymph nodes. My brother, youngest sister, and I would like to travel to Seattle, WA, and spend a week to 10 days with our sister for the last time. We have not seen her since our father died in 2006. We would like to hold her, encourage her, and love her a last time. That brings me to what I am asking of all of you that could and would help us out. We are all over 65 and live on fixed incomes, so saving enough money in the short window that we have will be next to impossible.
