Support for My Mom's Battle with ALS

Hi, my name is Valarie, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my amazing mom, Retonda, who has recently been diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).

ALS is a cruel, progressive disease that takes away a person’s ability to move, speak, eat, and eventually breathe — but it can never touch the love, strength, and spirit my mom carries. She has always been the most selfless and caring person I know — the kind of mom who put everyone else first, no matter what.

Now, she needs our help.

As ALS progresses, her needs are growing quickly. We’re doing everything we can as a family, but the financial burden is overwhelming. The money raised will go toward:

Medical equipment and mobility aids (wheelchair, lift, etc.)

Home modifications for accessibility and safety

Help with any medical expenses
