On July 2nd, my wife Sandra had a stroke. One moment she was fine, the next, we were in the ICU facing words no one wants to hear:
“There may be a blocked blood vessel in her brain.”
For days, doctors suspected something rare and dangerous, Moyamoya disease, a progressive condition that cuts off blood flow to the brain. We were preparing for the possibility of brain surgery and transfer to a specialized center. But after a detailed cerebral angiogram, the news came back:
It wasn’t a blocked artery. It was a thin nerve mimicking a vessel issue.
That was a huge relief, but the stroke was still real. Sandra is still recovering, and still facing weeks (possibly months) of rehabilitation and follow-up care. With Sandra out of work and a mountain of medical costs already rising, we’re asking for support. Your gift would help us pay for the hospital and ICU stay, Cover the angiogram and neurological testing, Manage travel and recovery costs, Offset lost income during this crucial time
Whether it’s $5 or $500, every dollar helps. If you can’t give, please share and pray. We’ve felt God’s hand throughout all of this, and we believe He’s using people, like you, to help carry us forward.
Thank you. Psalm 56:3–4
“What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.”
