Hi friends and family,

During the July 4 flooding along the Guadalupe River in Ingram, TX, our cousin Patrick was missing all day, and we feared the worst. Miraculously, he was found and rescued by Eddy, an Ingram local, and taken to a local shelter. He is now staying with his sister, Charity, in Austin-- safe, but having lost absolutely everything but the clothes given to him at the time of his rescue.

Starting over from scratch is overwhelming, and that’s why I’m turning to the kindness of our community. We’ve set up this GoFundMe to help him purchase essentials—clothing, shoes, toiletries, bedding, a phone, a few pieces of gently-used furniture—to begin rebuilding his life. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to him and our family.
